The Body Shop Honey Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner (Review)

Hello Everyone

Having heard so many good things about the shampoo's and conditioner's from The Body Shop, I was eager to give them a shot and here are my thoughts:

The shampoo is a thick white creamy formula, that it did not lather very well. I think the shampoo did an adequate job of moisturizing and it did leave my hair soft and shiny, turns straw hair into silk, doesn't strip hair, doesn't weight hair down, provides lots of moisture that dry damaged hair craves, while the conditioner helps to tangle's and add more shine.

Here's the directions for use, found on each bottle of The Body Shop Honey Moisturizing Shampoo: Give dry, damaged, or chemically-treated hair a moisturizing splurge with Community Trade honey. Apply to wet hair, work into a lather, add more water and lather again, rinse out and then repeat. If desired.

For me, I love both how this products, smell and how well it moisturizes and cleans my hair at the same time , it does rinse very clean and leave my hair smelling like nuts and honey. I can even smell it the next DAY after shampooing, so the fragrance lingers a long time.
It is kind of pricey for the bottle, but If you have a very dry, damaged an treated hair this is the right t shampoo for you. You will not regret it Its worth it.........

Weleda Pomegranate Hand Creme (Review)

Hello Everyone:

Recently my hands have been, very dry and rough so I went shopping to a health store and this new cream caught my eyes is by Weleda, and let me tell you, IT WORKS WONDERS, as soon as you apply it , you feel a silkiness trough your hands (not to forget smells wonderful) the consistency is very creamy but absorbs very quickly, leaving your hands very smooth and soften the lines as well, I have been try many cream in the past and nothing has work as well as this one, I really do not have much time to care for my hands(being a very busy mom), but since I started to notice the appearances of roughness, dry patch, lots of wrinkles my search for cream hunting begins which I have try about 5 different cream in the past such as: Neutrogena, Sally Hansen, Nivea, Avon etc...............

But I have to admitted that WELEDA is now my favorite hand cream but lets talk more about this cream and properties:

The antioxidant active complex helps the premature skin aging and prevents the formation of age-related pigment stains, help and promotes the regeneration of cells. Pure sesame oil and natural Shea butter keep the skin from moisture and maintain the hands noticeably softer. Extracts from silica support the strength and elasticity of the skin. The unique composition makes your skin much smoother and free of wrinkles. Natural essential oils of sandalwood and Avocado. Is free of synthetic fragrance, color and preservatives and contains no mineral based raw materials. Components Water, sesame oil, glycerin, alcohol, Shea butter, sunflower oil, pomegranate Oil, extract and sunflower petals; and the list goes on.

Lipstick Tricks

Hello Everyone

Yesterday I went to a department store to try some lipstick and I was thinking to write this post and share with all of you, some small tricks, that I use when I'm going for lipticks shopping.

It's just plain unhygienic to try lipsticks directly on your lips, there are some many bacterias and germs living in there, "and they are really quite happy" but the true is, that they are many people whom just forget to wipe it off or simply do not have the knowledge who has been touching those, and lot of people who suffer form herpes, (which I am of of them) specially in winter time, and we are passing the same infection and germs to others, so here are a some tips and tricks on how to test lipsticks, and how to enhace you beautiful lips.

  • Test the lipstick on your fingertips. Yes the fingertips!!!!!!It's a closer mach to your lips color than the back of your hand, is 95% accurate.

  • For "plump" lips, apply liner just outside your natural lip line dab a bit of gloss in the middle of your bottom lip and VOILA big plump and luscious lips, and remember Lipstick will last longer if you fill in your lips with the liner first.

  • If you're using light lipstick, try a nude liner (2 of my favorites are both my MAC Oak and Stripdown) then slick your lipstick on top.

  • If you fill in your lips first with the liner, the gloss has something to stick to and definitely will be staying longer.

  • Never use a dark liner with light lipstick, or make sure the liner matches the lipstick or gloss. Dark liner and light lips is tacky
Do you have any lips tricks or tips?? tell me about it... :)
